The Blue Springs Rotary Club President MaryAnne Metheny presented her outgoing board with praise for a job well done and welcomed incoming president Penny Donnelly-Dorst into the position by handing her the coveted Rotary gavel.
A successful Rotary club balances service opportunities with funding opportunities and, under Past-President MaryAnne's leadership, our club accomplished both in excellent fashion. Many charities were awarded larger than normal funding while members participated in more diverse service projects.
President Penny outlined her thoughts and goals for the year, so our members, club, and community will be the best we can be.
