Rotarian Mike Hilker and Blue Springs Ford present a $5,000 check to kick off the 23rd Annual Blue Springs Rotary Car Raffle.

Blue Springs Rotary Club member Mike Hilker, of Blue Springs Ford, presents a $5,000 check to car raffle chair, Rotarian Penny Donnelly.  President Jim Finley happily looks on.  This is the 3^rd year Blue Springs Ford has generously supported the car raffle.

This year’s car raffle will be held on May 17, 2014, at the Adams Pointe Conference Center in Blue Springs, MO.  The festivities begin at 6:00 PM and last until the lucky winner(s) decide they just can’t handle any more fun or excitement.  For the ticket price of $150.00, someone (and their guest) can eat a nice meal, drink, socialize with friends, and have the opportunity go home with $25,000 toward a new car purchase.  The proceeds of this car raffle support many charities----like Hope House, Special Olympics, Rainbow Center, and others--- in the Blue Springs community as well as Eastern Jackson County, Missouri.

Along with the excitement of the reverse raffle, we have assembled a large number of silent auction items that attendees can browse and bid on.  Among the items in the silent auction is a 50” HDTV, Blu-ray Player, and installation as well as other large ticket items too numerous to mention.  The proceeds of the silent auction support five (5) $2,000 scholarships our Rotary Club awards to area high school seniors.
